Family atmosphere since 1980, offering home-made recipes in the Istrian or Carso tradition. The favourite dishes include "spaghetti con le scovazze" (with seafood), spaghetti Barcolana-style (with sardines), čevapćići or ražnjići, jota (beans and sauerkraut soup), goulash, tripe, patate in tecia (rustic mashed potatoes), and Collio wines.
Except for its name and a British telephone booth, the atmosphere is warm and very local.
